Obviously a large number of building firms were involved in the 1940-1941 construction of the new Elizabeth street premises for Finlay Brothers.
In the April 1941 newspaper article that announced the opening of the new premises, an advertising feature listed the details of some of these firms. A fascinating photograph labelled as being the earlier 1913 premises is also displayed in the Finlay Brothers' advertisement of this column:
