Country agencies were the regional network which enabled rural customers to order Barb bicycles, parts, etc.  Finding these agents was a significant early commercial strategy of Finlay Brothers, and much advertising space was spent in looking for suitable people to take on the agencies.


Bendigo - It is thought that the R.J. Conroy dealership serviced Bendigo, particularly in the 1940's.


Mildura - Rosenthal's "Barb Cycle Depot" - appear to have been a very interesting presence in the early Barb Cyle era, particulary as they were strong promoters of local cycle events.

Located in Langtree Avenue, Mildura, Rosenthals' advertised numerous other products apart from bicycles, but appear to have been strongly involved in local bicycle sales, repairs and road race promotion.
