Leather motorcycle jacket

An interesting item - a lined leather motorcycle jacket. Finlay Brothers was known to have a wide range of motorcycle accessories for sale in its latter years, though we had not previously realised that some might actually be branded as being manufactured by the firm itself.

The era of this item is unknown, though jackets were certainly advertised prolifically from the 1940's onward.

This item is in original condition - unfortunately zips are sticky - and has three pockets, a belt and tweed lining.

The label reads:

"Sporting Wear Specialists
Finlay Bros. Pty. Ltd.
316-320 Elizabeth St., Melbourne."
